Yes! The main focus of my massage practice is pain relief and relaxation for both women and men

Q: Are you able to provide massage to multiple clients at the same time?
I am a sole massage therapist, therefore I am unable to provide massage to more than one person at the same time.

Q: Do you offer couples massage?
I do not offer couples massage at this time.

Q: Do you accept walk in clients without an appointment?
I see clients by appointment only. The quickest way to make an appointment and see my availability is to book online. It may take up to 24 hours for me to return phone calls.

Q: Is it okay to talk during my massage?
I encourage open communication about anything you are experiencing during your massage session in regards to pain, adjustment of pressure, etc. Quietness over casual conversation is encouraged. This allows you to be more present during the session, therefore increasing relaxation and awareness of how your body is responding to the treatment. It allows myself, the therapist to have greater focus and give you the best treatment possible.

Q: If I have a cold or the flu, should I reschedule my massage session?
Absolutely. A cold is most contagious 3 days before symptoms appear and 5 days throughout symptoms being present. Also, please reschedule if you have an active infection or are currently on antibiotics.I work with clients with compromised immune symptoms and maintaining a clean environment is important to prevent spreading illness to another client or the therapist.

Q: What kind of products do you use during your massage session?
I use Bon Vital fractionated coconut oil and Bon Vital therapeutic lotion, both are easily absorbed in to the skin. Both of these products are available unscented upon request. Otherwise, I blend both of these products with a variety of essential oils from the Floracopeia brand.

Q: What should I expect at my first appointment?
I offer a thorough consultation so that I may customize a session to meet your individual needs. I have a health intake form addressing your medical history, areas of pain and goals for your session. I may perform a few quick assessment tests, palpation and ask more detailed questions about your chief complaint.

Q: Should I remove my undergarments for my therapeutic massage session?
You should undress to your level of comfort. Some people prefer to leave their undergarments on while others prefer to be completely undressed. As per NYS law, only the area currently being worked on may be uncovered. If working the low back, hips and glutes, it is preferred for the undergarments to be removed. This allows greater access to the muscles and their attachment sites. It's your choice how you want me to work! Your comfort and feeling of security is of the upmost importance during your massage session. Being fully clothed during your massage session is also an option. Please address any draping concerns with me before your session.
